If you see what appears to be an illegally painted or altered Color Curb you may report it to SFMTA for investigation and possible abatement. SFMTA requests that a photo of the illegal curb painting be included in the service request to help expedite the handling of the complaint whenever possible.
- With a photo attached, and the painting is determined to be illegal, the goal of SFMTA is to abate the illegal curb painting within 30 days.
- Without an attached photo the service request handling time may take up to six (6) months for abatement.
