Financial Assistance

  • Calworks - If you are an adult with dependent children, you may be eligible for CalWORKs. CalWORKs provides financial support and a variety of services to help you get back on your feet and into the workforce
  • County Adult Assistance Programs (CAAP) - If you are a very low-income San Franciscan with no dependent children, you may be eligible for financial support and services through CAAP.
  • Homeward Bound - If you wish to return to your home town, assistance is available through this program

  • Legal Service - Information about the Homeless Advocacy Project which provides legal services and supporting social services to individuals and families in San Francisco who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness, while prioritizing individuals who have mental health disabilities
  • Lifeline Service - Information about Assurance Wireless which is provides free cell phones and cell services for those who qualify
  • Storage For Belongings/ Belongings Are Missing - Information about resources to store personal belongings, and resources to find missing personal belongings
