PARADE AND CIVIC CELEBRATION FOR THE WORLD CHAMPION SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS
Parade and Civic Celebration
In celebration of the San Francisco Giants' win of the World Series, the city will host a Victory Parade from its Financial District to Civic Center Plaza on Friday, October 31st.
The parade will start at 12 noon at the intersection of Market and Main Streets, will continue onto Market Street, turn west on McAllister Street and will end with a celebration on the steps of San Francisco City Hall.
The Civic Celebration in the Civic Center Plaza will begin at the conclusion of the Parade; we anticipate the Celebration will begin at approximately 1:30 PM.
Inclement weather is expected on Friday; The parade is expected to commence regardless of weather

Street Closures starting Thursday at approximately 7pm
McAllister Street (between Larkin Street and Van Ness Avenue)
Grove Street (between Larkin Stre Van Ness Avenue)
Civic Center Plaza and streets around and adjacent to City Hall
Muni will reroute.
Parade Closures starting Friday, October 31 at approximately 9am
Steuart Street (between Howard & Market streets)
Spear Street (between Howard & Market streets)
Main Street (between Howard & Market streets)
Market Street (between Steuart & 10th streets)
Mission Street (between Van Ness Avenue & The Embarcadero)
The Civic Center Garage will also be closed beginning as early as 7:00AM on Wednesday and will not reopen until after the Civic Center Area is cleared. Those viewing the parade and who wish to attend the celebration in Civic Center Plaza are advised to arrive early and take public transportation. Use the online transit tools to plan your route.
Muni Reroutes: MUNI service down Market and Mission streets will be affected. Surface MUNI will be routed to Mission St. Routes crossing Market St. will be short turned before and after Market St. Subway service under Market St. is augmented and will operate as usual. All Muni Metro trains will stop at Civic Center station for the celebration and Parade, as well as at Powell and Montgomery stations for the parade. The additional service will begin at approximately 10 a.m. and continue until the event clears at Civic Center.

Family Reunification: Red Cross Emergency Response Vehicles (ERV) will be located along parade route and in Civic Center area and will serve as reunification centers. The locations are:
• Justin Herman Plaza
• Civic Center area on Larkin St. and McAllister St. (near elevator)
Restrooms: Portable toilets are located in the Civic Center area on Fulton St. between Larkin St. and Hyde St. No portable toilets will be staged along parade route.
ADA areas: The ADA viewing platform is located on Polk and McAllister streets; ADA lift available adjacent to the platform. ADA ambassadors will be on-site to escort individuals to ADA restricted area. ADA portable toilets available on Fulton St.
